The pride of Serbian physics

Belgrade- The winner of the most prestigious Yugoslav prize for physics called "Marko Jaric" for the year 2001 is Mr. Miodrag Kulic, Ph.D. a theoretical physicist of the world class who lives and works in Germany. The prize was awarded at the formal observance at the Administration Building of the Belgrade University by the Principal Prof. Marija Bogdanovic, Ph. D.

For this year's prize, third in a row, named after one of the best physicists of the Serbian origin, applied a number of Yugoslav scientists and scientists of the Yugoslav origin who live abroad.

Miodrag Kulic, Ph.D. received a diploma and a check at 2,000 USD. The amount of money received, Mr. Kulic invested in projects for development of the Yugoslav science in the field of physics.
